Reading this site is anonymous. There is no sign-up, no login and no advertising. PriceTrail sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Nothing you do here is recorded against you.

The site is served by GitHub Pages, and web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Like any web host, those services see the request your browser makes, including your IP address. That is outside our control and applies to any site hosted the same way.

If you subscribe to price-change emails, the only thing stored is the email address you typed. It is held by the mailing service that sends the emails, used for nothing except sending them, and never sold, rented or shared. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and using it deletes the address.

You can ask what is held about you and ask for it to be deleted at any time, and unsubscribing already does the second thing on its own.

The pricing data itself is not personal information. It is published prices from companies' own public pages, recorded as read. Nothing about the people who read this site is ever mixed into it.
