Reading this site is anonymous. There is no sign-up, no login and no advertising. PriceTrail sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The site's one script runs search and filters in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

The site is served by GitHub Pages, and web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Like any web host, those services see the request your browser makes, including your IP address.

If you buy price alerts, you give two things at checkout: your email address and the list of competitors to watch. Payment is handled by Stripe, which holds your payment details; PriceTrail never sees your card. Your email address and list are used for nothing except sending your alerts, through the email service Resend, and are never sold, rented or shared. They are not published anywhere on this site. To unsubscribe, cancel from the link in your receipt, or reply to any alert and ask; the alerts stop and your list is no longer used.

You can ask what is held about you and ask for it to be deleted at any time.

The pricing data itself is not personal information. It is published prices from companies' own public pages.
